The petals, here, are like pieces of broken pearl. They're translucent. The light is sumptuous. And the hues---whites fading into deep yellows---are buttery and sensual. The background leaves look like they were painted on. And you have hints of colored light coming through the leaves, too. A beautiful portrait of a flower, which feels like a dream: as if this is what flowers would dream of, if they could...
