Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

So good to see you--been a long while. This is just beautiful; the light is stunning. I think I remember seeing these somewhere in my last journey to the Big Island. Guess I have to come back soon to see more!!

Your balance of darkness and light through color always heightens the beauty of nature. Great work.

I've never seen such a plant, or flower, and have to say that's it's looking fantastic, and in a way also a bit unreal, as if it's made of a kind of plastic material. I wonder if it has a smell. Thank you very much for sharing this beautiful photo-series, Sharky.
