Description

"Lady Vorwick, sorry to interrupt but I must insist; in Lord Vorwick's absence, it is imperative that you sign these treaties to cease hostilities and withdraw from Lord Marcelle's lands. I have orders to escort you home at once..." "I'm not sure what you're babbling about, but I do know that I have wasted too much time staring at these absurd documents. Inform the Marshall that I wish to speak with him on the training grounds, I will need two dozen of his best men to accompany me on a mission. It's time to bring the fight to Marcelle's doorstep!" And so the Lady Vorwick returns. Last we saw her, she was rallying the men for a surprise charge in "Follow Me!". We can only assume her bravery led to a great victory, which then resulted in a great pile of paperwork. But our Lady of action has no desire to sit idly by and suffer the "guidance" of her husband's craven advisers. Daz Studio > Reality > LuxRender > Photoshop

Love how she ponders out the window, teriffic scene and render. 10+/fav.

Thank you! Having her stare out the window was the basis of the whole scene, and it was much harder to do convincingly than I thought it would be. How hard could it be to have someone stare out a window, I thought? Well, we need to see out the window, too, so it wants to be further back along the wall. And if I pointed the figure's eyes through the window at what we're looking at, she'd end up looking away from us (and we can't have our heroine hiding her pretty face). I learned a lot through trial and error about posing, positioning, and the perception of the viewer putting this one together.

Interesting that you used the word, "ponders", the working title I was using for this scene was "Lady Vorwick Ponders" until recently.
