Description
"Lady Vorwick, sorry to interrupt but I must insist; in Lord Vorwick's absence, it is imperative that you sign these treaties to cease hostilities and withdraw from Lord Marcelle's lands. I have orders to escort you home at once..."
"I'm not sure what you're babbling about, but I do know that I have wasted too much time staring at these absurd documents. Inform the Marshall that I wish to speak with him on the training grounds, I will need two dozen of his best men to accompany me on a mission. It's time to bring the fight to Marcelle's doorstep!"
And so the Lady Vorwick returns. Last we saw her, she was rallying the men for a surprise charge in "Follow Me!". We can only assume her bravery led to a great victory, which then resulted in a great pile of paperwork. But our Lady of action has no desire to sit idly by and suffer the "guidance" of her husband's craven advisers.

Love how she ponders out the window, teriffic scene and render. 10+/fav.

Thank you! Having her stare out the window was the basis of the whole scene, and it was much harder to do convincingly than I thought it would be. How hard could it be to have someone stare out a window, I thought? Well, we need to see out the window, too, so it wants to be further back along the wall. And if I pointed the figure's eyes through the window at what we're looking at, she'd end up looking away from us (and we can't have our heroine hiding her pretty face). I learned a lot through trial and error about posing, positioning, and the perception of the viewer putting this one together.
Interesting that you used the word, "ponders", the working title I was using for this scene was "Lady Vorwick Ponders" until recently.
