Description
Captured 10/5/16 @ 2:09 pm, looking over the condo fence of a neighbor.
Meet Boobie, a mutt I've known for years already, doing his usual thing, barking at me when I go to get my mail. This is all blatant posturing. He's actually real chicken when not behind the gate, tending to rapidly and silently walk away with head down when confronted. No way is he lovable, and I dare anyone, other than his owners, to try rubbing his tummy. He's just antisocial.
Anyway, since his mouth is wide open and eyes ablaze, I believe this to be one of the best shots in my barking dog series.
A definite ZOOM.

He seems to be foaming at the mouth in his fierce attempt to get you to move along, Harry; his coat looks just like my dog when she's not been trimmed for a while, but he has different ears and doesn't seem to possess her cheerful doggy grin. I wonder what it is about you that brings out the watchdog in the animals you pass on your travels? At any rate, excellent portrait of this vicious beast!

Come to think of it, he does look rabid. His owners are elderly, and have probably lost the incentive to give him a haircut, especially during our never ending heat.

Yes, he looks like barking alright :) But he also looks old. His legs look like they have seen better days. Does he even have teeth? :)
