Description

I love Steampunk, but because I dont have any gears myself, I had to create some in PSP 9, my favorite program. I made severel different wheels and such, saved them as tubes and made this background. All digitally. Later I made a collage traditionally, where I used this background. Have a lovely weekend. We have sunny and cloudy weather and around 11 C. It fine for this time of the year. The leaves are changing colors and it is beginning to look like autumn. And we are expecting family visit any moment. :) Thank you for the visit.

You did that with PSP9? What is PSP9? Otherwise, simply amazing! Superb work, Helle, with a terrific variety of gears. You are so talented. When I first saw the image I was wondering where you had acquired all of that greasy rusted paraphernalia. Certainly not in your garage. Weather here a desert-like hot, dry, and breezy, with 39.4 Celsius in the patio. Hope it cools off, even a little bit, by December.

Yeah I'm with the above. How you do this digitally...I know how---you sent me an elaborate set of tutorials, and I was amazed at how you even know to do all that stuff. The combination is wonderfully alive, I love the textures, I love the old metallic rust and other hues, and I love the background. As I said (in my lavish praise for this whole project), this is much more than background. It works by itself. I love this. 400 stars. Or gears. You even have two little metal bagels in there! Terrific.

Helle, I'm at an hour now, in your gallery, so I'll continue during the day or evening. But I think I did 12 pieces so far. Always a great treat. As I said earlier, I wish Per 100% healing, and I hope your day with family was wonderful. And if you get snow, it'll probably go away in a day, as it's too early to stick. Great work, Helle, I love your stuff. A total delight on all levels!
