Description
“Travel safely, dear. And know that I will be waiting for you when you come back.”
Much has happened since Hailey entered the door to work in the library little more than a week ago. She met a young police detective named Aram. She met two of her cousins and then lost one of them in an accident narrowly avoiding danger herself. She learned that she has a connection to the house — some of her ancestors almost certainly lived here. Then in the few days since the accident she has pondered an employment offer she little expected on the day she arrived at the mansion.
Hailey is traveling north to pack her things and have them shipped to the mansion. After much hesitation she signed a contract to live in the mansion for a year continuing her work in the library and compiling notes for a family history. She will be very busy when she returns. In a month or so the front of the house will be opening for tourists a few hours each week and Hailey will be serving as docent and tour guide.
Matilda the housekeeper knows well that the trust would prefer to have a couple living there, and she has designs to take care of that. But she also knows not to rush matters which is why Aram is not there to see Hailey off.

This episode has come to an end. There are plenty of loose ends left untied to justify a sequel if the viewers would like to see one. A sequel would move outside the mansion for much of the action. There is an old theater not far away and we could visit Aram’s home town in the Cotswalds, both courtesy of BlueTreeStudios.
Thanks for looking and your patience in following a series that ended far longer than I originally intended, but stories have a way of doing that.
