Description


This is a photo of a young Red-tailed hawk as she was released to begin living in nature, as nature intended. The beautiful and quite large bird had been rescued with an injury. All healed well and now the hawk is free to live its life in the wild. The light eye color reveals this is a youngster....some time will pass before the eyes show the rich mahogany color of an adult Red-tail hawk.
