I was asked to hang some very expensive chandeliers but nothing as huge as this one. I done lots of work at two different houses for the same couple. at the last house, the man had asked me to hang very expensive antique chandelier. he was out of town, so I asked his wife if I should go ahead and hang the chandelier. she told me that it was so dull that she would call him to see if he wanted her to clean it first. well, he blew his stack and said by no means not to clean it. took a couple of hundred years to get that patina and he wanted it to stay that way.
