Description
Sometimes, at the bend in a street,in old quarters, you can stumble in a scenery that looks out of time.
It was the feeling I had when I saw this place : it gave me the look and feel of old Paris. How was it to have a meal there one hundred years ago? Were they happy? Was it a noisy place? Could you ear some music and which kind of music?
I hope I succeed in capturing the remembrance of those old times and sharing them with you.
Capture made in august 2016
Have a safe and great sunday !

Lovely Virginie! I love Paris. I stayed in Paris in May 1978 arriving from London by train and stayed in the Latin Quarter. When I checked in to the small hotel the concierge completely ignored me, he was watching a soccer game for the 1978 World Championship played in Mendoza, Argentina. Only when i let it be know that I am also a soccer fan, did he warm up to me, I guess he had assumed I was American. In those days you didn't have to hide that fact. I checked in and took the paternoster to the 4th floor. From my open window I could see Notre Dame. In the morning, all the church bells chimed, and across from me, also on the 4th floor a young, attractive woman looked out of the window totally nude, and wished me a 'Bonjour' and acted as if it was totally normal, and it was, at least in Paris. Later I went to the Eiffel Tower, the top was closed for renovation in May 1978, but also to Sacre Coeur and Montmatre and kept thinking about Toulouse-Lautrec and other painters of his time who were trying to make a living capturing the French milieu. My regret is that I didn't make it to the Louvre, which I had planned. As to your comment on the 435 BMW, the 4 series came out a couple of years ago and is the 2 door version of the 3 series.
