Description
Hulda was a Scandinavian nature goddess, also as Holle in Germanic lore. She could be seen taking her wild walks with cats and other animals. I chose this subject for the Halloween contest as the "ghostly" selection, but I failed to meet the submission deadline. For me, Halloween is about spirits that even mortals can see at this time of year. Spirits can be awe-inspiring, raising the hair and prickling the skin, and unpredictable-sometimes benign, sometimes avenging. Posed in DAZ3D, rendered in Bryce7, and postwork in CorelPSP7. Gown and sandals by StudioArtVartanian. It took me a couple of days to decide how to present this, but actual work took about 2 hours to pose and render several times, and another hour to do the postwork.

This is lovely work, sorry to hear that you missed the deadline for submitting it in the contest. I thought to enter this year but time gets away from you.
