Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Yes. I really prefer the left one too, but they are both lovely.

I like the depth the incandescent lighting provides. Your piece is beautiful in any light, and it's nice you have two versions now that you can use digitally! :)
The whole eye thing is horrid, isn't it? So many adjustments to be made, so many compromises. :( Now that I no longer have the fog, I struggle with my eyeglass prescription being wrong. Hopefully when we get settled in Texas for the winter I can get it taken care of. It makes me want to give up sometimes!!

I like both versions, mainly the lamp light one on the left because of the high contrast, depth, and varied colors incorporated within it. The image on the right is pretty in its own right and much more sedate. Sorry about your chronic eye problems, Helle; it is most frustrating, especially to one so artistic like yourself. I wish I could offer a cure.

Very lovely image, Helle! Hope the eye problems ease up, my friend!

You already know what I feel about your eye, and its healing. I hope it gets better, I truly do. And never comes back. I'm terribly sorry you've had to live with this these many months. And it's amazing what you've produced in that time. I've already written about this painting to you---enough that you probably don't want to read another word. But whichever version one looks at, the breakdown of forms, the wonderful interaction of strokes and splotches, and the way the hues play off each other, are really complex and deep. And the right side one---the more accurate one---is as beautiful as the left. You still have really active, almost "abstract expressionist" shapes all over the place. In full form, it's even better. Terrific piece. You turned simple flower forms into an exploration into form and shape, and it's a real feast.
