Description
Towards the end of our walk in Lithia Park, we came across this turkey who had flown up onto a branch of this tree. Hard to tell from this photo, but the branch was actually very low (& bending even lower under the turkey's weight), probably less than 6 feet off the ground. A bunch of his friends were walking underneath the tree & one of them eventually joined him up there, putting even more strain on the branch. I took a bunch of photos, but I liked this one with wings outstretched the best.
The fall colors were very beautiful in the park & I will be posting some of those photos tomorrow...

very beautiful Turkey/capture and something I have not see in a tree

The colour of the Turkey looks so very different from ours, here in OZ (more of a brownish shade, even black) nevertheless, this one looks spectacular in all his glory in 'fifty shades of grey'... not to mention the radiosity from the foliage adding a touch of green.
