That is such a great shot! They are kind of cool birds--they used to nest near my New Jersey place and then they liked to sit on the roofline of a Victorian mansion just down the street, like something out of the Addams family. I think they cleaned up all the squirrels that got run over--we had a lot of trees, a lot of squirrels and a lot of cars. Also a wildlife zone around the town so there was plenty for the birds to eat.

Had a rare sight of two turkey buzzards feasting on squirrel remains the other day. Black bodies and red heads. Great capture....as always!
