Hi There =) ! Thank you for the wonderful wonderful comments and favs and likes on my renders. This was like a bad dream to Miho. Miho was having her breakfast at home when she had got an emergency call from her research lab saying that they were receiving massive amount of gene manipulation experiment data along with a plea for help from a person who actually was fired by Miho for trying to do such experiments in her labs which she had banned. It seems that person was now working in a secret government lab in a far of place and well they did something bad and got themselves infected. Before the person completely lost control of his faculties he had the presence of mind to call Miho's lab for help and pass the lab all his data. He knew if he called his superiors instead, his superiors would order a airstrike immediately instead of trying to help them in any way. He also knew Miho would be able to make sense of the data and potentially reverse engineer it within hours to save them . Luckily there was only 3 staffs in that secret lab and they were days of travel away from the nearest town and also this area was so barren that even birds did not come there. So changes of the infection spreading beyond the 3 was low. Upon receiving the call Miho immediately reacted. She remotely logged in to look at the data and also at the same time ordered her air transport staff to pick her up as well as one of the scientist who worked for her and also pick up the hi tech research lab on wheels they had nearest to the place. Her mind raced as she set about reverse engineering the mess that that idiot had created and create an antidote. To her it was some kind of cruel joke that the nearest hi tech lab on wheels was on the outside like a replica of a zombie movie van she had seen. She used to love zombie movies and well she had build her own replica of the vans she saw in the movies. She drily thought this probably was fitting. The air transport dropped her, the scientist and the van near the remote secret base. During their journey to this place, she and the scientist had already created the antidote in the back of the van which was a hi tech computer and medical lab. Both of them had taken the antidote. They got into the lab and looked around but did not see anyone. Parts of the lab was burnt and everything was in disarray as though some massive struggle had gone on inside there . Miho set up her drone and sent them out to search for the three. She located them quickly some distance away. She and the staff could not believe the condition of the three they where seeing n the video feedback. Their bodies seemed ravaged. She started the van and went after them. As the van came to a stop, the three ravaged souls crowded next to the van door. Their fingers were twisted in agony, their flesh was deteriorating and they were desperate for help. Miho opened the door and the scientist behind her covered her mouth in disbelieve in what she was seeing, it was much more horrifying that what she had seen in the video stream. The guy reached out to Miho with a stretched arm. Miho smiled at them reassuringly and then quickly got her medical gear out and put them in a medicine induced coma and also gave them the antidote. She and the scientist then put the three of them securely in the back of the van and called for the air transport staff to come and get them. They had a long recovery ahead. Miho sighed. Why would anyone in the name of science take shortcuts or do things like what the three did here was beyond her thinking. This time she was able to quickly come and help. What if someone else did the same with the data and then could not call for help or called the wrong party for help when the same thing happened ? It was a nightmare scenario that she did not want to think about.... She decided to destroy all the data that had been sent to her lab regarding the gene manipulation this guy and his staff had done. Such data lying around was extremely dangerous. About this render: I was asked recently what Miho would be doing for Halloween. My response was - probably nothing - as I had never done any specific render for Halloween. But then I though why not do something but in Miho's way of things, it needed to be something of hope and not scary stuff. I did buy a zombie/ apocalyptic van more than a year ago and hadn't used it ever. So started with that. I started to explore what moving parts it had. The moment I had the door opened in the front of the van, the pose Miho would have came to mind. For most poses, I use the 'Active poses' tool in DAZ Studio. So I placed right feet on the steps and her right arm on the mirror bar. Then locked the right hand and feet and gently pulled her left hand. That move the rest of the body and nicely created the base pose. Then I moved her left arm/ hand down and adjusted the left leg to get the look that she was about to step down. Next I added the zombie characters and set their poses. Once I adjusted the position and the camera angle and everything looked ok, I thought why not add another character behind Miho who would have a look of shock while Miho still had a reassuring smile. I replaced / modified all the material on the van. Looks pretty good I think. Changed the material on the character behind Miho too. Added a road prop and then decided to add another soil prop that helped with the desolate look. Again I was able to get it nice and bright depicting a clear sunny day. There is a bit of noise in the render. Going to live with it. Spend close to 12 hours in total on this render. Final render time was close to 3 hours. Hope you all like the render !
