These waves are jumping right out in my face and let the bamboo looking background stand there as a shading wall to protect the playing amoebes ;-) Love the green colors here.

The very essence of spring, Mark. Glorious!

Great contrasts with the vertical lines in the background. Love the palette.

Very nice work Mark.
Do you remember the old lava lamps? Your picture reminds me a bit of it.

Marvelous! I love all the various shades of green.

I love the vertical liquidity of this. (I bet you were just waiting for someone to say that, weren't you?) Although I like Helle's bamboo thing. Can I change my mind and say bamboo? At first I saw a waterfall with a leafy tree in front of it, but then it looked more like a Doug fir. Then I read what Helle said, and she's right. Bamboo. Cool and clean and evocative. Brilliant! I'm glad you posted this.

Green is so restful for me. A space odyssey in my mind's eye. Love it.

Oh, this reminds me so much of an auger, all green, lipid and buttery, but an auger nevertheless. Stellar color, patterns, contrasts, blends and textures, Mark. Go Cubs.

Dang - I musta missed this one.... A wonderful spring abstract, Mark! So full of wonderful spring-like colors, and the verticals in the background could be the spring rains. Very cool, buddy!

I'm seeing reeds reflected in still water with occasional little waves (perhaps from swimming birds) causing distortion. Beautiful and serene piece!

First impression, liquid jungle. Its like a seaweed garden.

oh, I like this a lot! am I sinking to the bottom of a weed-filled pond on a sunny day or am I hiding in tall, tall grass to spend the day daydreaming all alone? I can't decide which I'd rather do. thanks for the option! :)
