Description
A real oddity, captured 6/5/16 @ 10:42 pm, at the beautiful Huntington Beach Concours d'Elegance, held on the vast grounds of the beautiful Huntington Beach Central Park in beautiful Huntington Beach, California.
It could be that these trees were still alive, despite their sordid appearance. They could pass for fossilized bones.
From what I could ascertain, I was the only photographer there taking pictures of trees, of which there were many.

No, I imagine, in parks like this, most people won't be taking pictures of sights like this, because the subject material isn't what they're looking for. Probably too gritty for them, not 'photogenic' enough. Very gritty captures, your shots bring out the fossilized look, the tangles, gnarls and powerful decay of the things. And the flattened sense, as if this were a ground zero for a bombing. You caught its power, and how it looks like bone or rock. Almost desiccated. Terrific shots, Harry. The other photographers can have the photogenic stuff, this is dramatic photography.
