Description

An unknown sort of female duck at Coy Pond, Bournemouth. The male has a bit more pale brown on him. If anyone can name it I shall be grateful. Until then I shall call her Deidre. She is probably of mixed heritage.

My guess is that she indeed is a mutant or variant especially if she behaves and looks in every way other than color like other ducks in the area. Nice photo of her
