gorgeous light and contrasts, Claude, with your usual sense of lumination, where everything seems to be lit up. A lot of shadow in the center, surrounded by big lush leaves and other pond stuff, all bathed in light. Yes, very Monet, as Andrea says (and you hint in your description). And, like late Monet esp, you've taken us into the middle of it all, so there's no other world but this. Beautiful work with and outside of the camera.
