Description

The gueardians on top of the Castle (stump) are the same fungi, I uploaded the other days. Have a beautiful weekend. We have had rain all day, but very little wind and then i´ts ok for me.

Eye candy for someone who rarely sees fungi in my area. What an astonishing variety of the species, shown in a pair of great photos with lots of detail, lighting effects and rich contrasting color, Helle. I can't get over how they grow on the side of a tree trunk.

I imagine fine architecture, created by nature - isn't that AWESOME ?, I thought I would never ever use 'that' word, but here it is absolutely spot-on and perfect ! of course the guardians on top are a bonus... I am so glad you immortalized them here, because they don't live very long, generally speaking, fine work Helle.
