Description
Captured way back on 4/10/06, at the beautiful Fullerton Arboretum in beautiful Fullerton, California.
I revisited the site on 5/10/2015, and found very few ducks there in comparison to over ten years ago. The same with flowers.

I've seen all these shots before, of course and I remember this struck me as nearly a piece of art on glass---the light seems to pour 'through' the grass, and the light and shapes on the ducks reflects 'off' of them, as if they were made of glass or ceramic. Wonderful light effects. And it moves from a darker green, on bottom, to that luminous yellow-and-white green, on top. And the birds look like they've stopped to ponder your presence; either that or they're studying something off-frame. Fine angle, capture and cropping.
