Description
Elita hadn't veen able to sleep. To much going on in her head. As the sun began to lighten the horizon, she slipped a dress over er head, padded quietly across the room in her bare feet and out to the beach. She pulled the dress up around her knees and waded into the shallow surf. Letting the water swirl around her ankles, she walded the length of the beach until the sun was fully above the rim of the island. Her mind clear now, she went bck to the house to settle things once and for all.

very restful light, and peaceful too, with those blue undertones, and the spots of bright light on the leaves and water. (The leaves are lit luminously in spots.) I love the bird flying in; and her posture is that of someone just waking up and stretching. She looks at us for a moment...A simple piece, but you have an angle and wonderful lights on the plants and along the sand, and it feels like a first-stroke-of-dawn stretch. Very dawn-like, and delicately done.
