Description
Continuing my variant 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, where among other things, Nemo has a daughter and a cat. Here we move a little further from the novel. Jules Verne described a small boat set into the deck of the Nautilus that Nemo could enter from within the submarine while submerged. It was then released and floated to the surface where Nemo could raise a sail. The boat trailed a telegraph wire over which Nemo could signal the Nautilus to come and retrieve him. In this alternate story line Nemo has constructed a mini-submarine. In this image he and his lieutenant lower it to the water as the sun rises. A crewman stands ready to help while Nemo's daughter looks on.
I was looking to emphasize lighting and form in this image.
The Nautilus is my own and the minisub is built from Cybertenko's Steampunk Turtle. Nemo is M4 with a custom face and the Mateo skin texture, G3 Whiskers mod'd for M4, and Estio Curls hair from DAZ. The mate is Jerome from DAZ with Alicia hair (DNA) and the G3 whiskers. Their uniforms use the pants from the US Cavalry Pack, boots from Andreas Schmitt, and the M3 Poet shirt (DAZ). The crewman is M4 with the same shirt but the French Navy Hat and M4 Cowboy pants. Nemo's daughter is V4 with the Emma Lee texture and Edwardian hair (DAZ), wearing the Edwardian Boarding Suit skirt (DAZ), Hongyu's shirt, and the Gunslinger vest. The environment consists of the Poser Ocean and Flink's Sunset Sky. The seabirds are from Hivewire3D flock formations. Zoe is forever the Millennium Cat.
The scene was composed and Superfly rendered in Poser 11 Pro. The image was post-processed in CorelPaint with the L'amico Perry Luce plug-in.

Nice work. I like how you provide so much detail on what is going into the scene. I don't suppose you have Reality on your system? It would be interesting to see what that render engine would do with the same scene.

Excellent image with particularly fine lighting.
