Great idea for the self portrait, but she is not particularly kind on herself, or is that the way that she sees herself maybe ?

Does a woman artist need to be beautiful for her work attracts interest? has her self-portrait to be necessary the same ? For me the wild energy she puts into her painting is a form of resistance to the spectator on her. Taking up my brushes I imagined a kind of revenge from her part on the series of Willem de Kooning, Woman. This is probably also why my character presents Nordic features.
