In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.

~ Major John McCrae at the memorial for his friend Lieutenant Alexis Helmer, killed on 2nd May, 1915, Ypres.

A beautiful dedication. Your post work has made this look like a Remembrance Poppy. We must never forget to cost of war.
