I've done a few night shots with my 6D at 12000 - 20000 ISO, and am consistently floored at the results I get. There is some noise, but when compared to a film like Tri-X, the "grain" is far less noticeable. Truly amazing what these DSLRs are capable of.

A fantastic shot Modern Digital slrs ability to get good results with high iso is amazing so much better than with film when you were stuck with the speed you had in the camera your 5d mark III has a god reputation for taking good shots at high iso
