Description
Hi There =) !
Thank you for the wonderful wonderful comments and favs and likes on my renders.
We continued to follow the wolf through the jungle. We came up to another clearing and the Wolf said this area belonged to the panthers and sure enough as we walked down the path, 2 panthers came out to meet us. Immediately the wolf went behind Miho to be safe. As Miho spoke to the pair of panthers, the wolf feeling safe behind Miho started to stare at the panther which he would never do otherwise. Though the panther on Miho's left was busy talking to Miho and did not notice the wolf staring at it, the one of the right noticed and his attention immediately shifted to the wolf and its tail started to rise up as it was about to go after the wolf. The wolf had not noticed this panther as it kept staring at the other. But Miho was immediately aware of the wolf was being naughty and noticed the panther on her right react and she spread her arms to block the panther and spoke to it to calm it down. The panther slowly backed down as it knew though it could easily take on the wolf, it was no match for Miho. I had gotten behind the panthers and kept snapping photos mesmerized by what was happening in front of me. Miho scolded the wolf and after things calmed down, Miho spoke to the panthers about the size of the jungle shrinking and other stuff and the picture she was getting from them was a grim one like the one she had gotten from the wolf. She definitely needed to do something to protect this jungle and the animals in it.....
About this render:
Wanted to test more furry animals and continue with the jungle adventure Miho and me were having. So loaded 2 LAMH enabled panthers into the scene. This scene is extremely memory intensive. There are 1.5 million hair strands on each of the panther and close to1 million on the wolf. So there is almost 4 million hair strands in the scene ! DAZ has taken 47+ GB of memory (I do have 128GB of RAM) so that is fine. But if you have less than 16GB, it is going to be a difficult scene to load. In such cases sticking to 1 furry animal might prove to be better.
As the skin color of the panther was literally pure black, to get the fur to show some details I added a specular node to it like I had done for the wolf before. Now even though everything is still black, you see some sheen on the black fur and it makes the strands visible. You may need to see the full version of this render to see the details a bit better. Anyway this is my first try on completely black skin / fur. I will see if I can tweak some settings to get more hair strand details in future renders.
I added trees on both sides to add shadow on the path and used a billboard forest of trees in the background to fill the area. Again used the same displacement based ground texture that I have used in this series. Also had the same problem as before in trying to pose all of them in the uneven ground that you could only see in the render viewport but now in the DAZ viewport where you are making adjustments.
I also modified the materials on Miho and also her eyes. Miho's skin had become too bright. I toned it down a bit. Actually earlier the light I was getting was not this bright hence I had brightened Miho's skin. With the light being really bright in my last few renders I think Miho's skin looked way too bright. So I adjusted it to the level of sunlight I am getting. Also there was too much highlight on Miho's eyes in my last 2 renders that I fixed in this one.
Overall I really like how this render looks and the interaction between all of them. Miho still is the center of focus.
This one rendered for around 1 hour 30 minutes. Still better than what I was getting lately.
Hope you all like the render !

"Animal Planet" :-). Fantastic demonstration of computer resources - very impressive result. I can not say anything about the eyes - they are too small in the frame. I use SSS for eyes.

Sweet work! I'd be a little worried in this situation!!

Great render, and superb colors, and light :) - Great work with Lamh, although this is one of the reason why i've never got it (was worried about memory use... 32 Gb of ram here ;). Without to say, I wonder how it would weight on Vram.

Time for worry it looks like. Super work with the elements.

Extraordinary work with the fur, my friend! Awesome POV and scene arrangement too. Excellent ongoing story line as Miho consults with the animals endeavoring to save the jungle! Very, very cool environmentally aware imaginative thinking!

Excellent
Hey Navi, With your resources, you can easily use LAMH. Of course, you don't need to take Rajibs Scene as a reference, but I'm using LAMH with only 8GB of RAM (I was Lucky I had 32)...

Looking superb still shows plenty of detail in the black fur.I've only tried 1 LAMH figure at a time and with just 32Gb of RAM and 6Gb of vram that runs just fine have to try a scene with more than 1 figure now.
