Description
This is my first try to add fur to a creature with Anything Grows . I've used two special texture-maps : first one for the density, second one for the start direction in X axis . Also, i've used a trick to make the fur stand out : i've multiplied its color texture-map with a Scale function at 150 . Modelled and rendered in Carrara Studio 2.1, no post-render other than resampling .

Thanks for your comments guys :) . Zorases, yeah it was some kind of frog-lizard-gecko ... Now, it's some kind of frog-lizard-gecko-monkey ;) . Glought, there are only three colored lights with soft shadows . No GI used here .

Nice work litst! It's helpful to see you applying different techniques to the same model... it shows the endless possibilities with skill and a good imagination.

Great looking hair, this creature is definetly a cross between a frog and a squirrel Im I right? Though I wonder about the antennas...perhaps some "sidestep" from an ancestor :)
