I have to go, with this comment (dental work tomorrow, I'm reeeeeeealllly looking forward to that!), and it's odd to end on an industrial shot, as you post so few. I really liked the normal version of this, and I'm picking this because your postwork turned it into a host of colonies, topographical tension lines (Andrea does that too), and the illusion that we're viewing this through striated glass. The blues really do contrast with the rust hues of the big crane. And the clouds are bold accents in this treatment. The kind of filtering you used here can become cliched very fast; but you've done something very vital with it. It's a luminous piece. And cool to see industrial pieces in your gallery, because you don't seem to do too many. Your gallery is electric, very alive and penetrating as always, Claude. I wish you and all your loved ones a wonderful new year.
