Description
2001-2016
Our beloved cat "Bear" went over the "Rainbow Bridge" yesterday morning.
She was such a loving and protective cat. For many years she slept on top of my head, purring me to sleep.
From the get go she was Jims alarm clock, rubbing his cheek and meowing for him to get up and get her breakfast ready at 5:30 am. every morning.
Bear liked to be carried around, gave kisses and also some very hard head bangs, all in the name of love.
One of her special talents was chatting, always answered when talked to, and could say "Mom" when asked to. Well that's what it sounded like to me !
She graciously welcomed her cat sisters-- Sassy when she was two and at fourteen baby cat Mia into her world.
We are going to miss her very much for all the enjoyment and entertainment she gave us for the past 15 years.
Rest in Peace Dear Bear.

Oh, I'm so sorry, dear Glenda, what a deep loss this will be for all of your family, included Sassy and Mia. I can imagine your sorrow, especially since she had such lovely habits in her loving behaviour. Thinking of you, dear friends, sending love and prayers.

There are no words that can fully express the deep feelings the loss of this little black furball has created. When I came home for lunch today and she was not at the door to greet me, helped drive home the magnitude of how much she touched both of our lives. I know she was primarily a momma's girl, but she brought a lot of joy into my life as well. We can be thankful her suffering is over. Sassy and Mia both look a little lost as they too are missing their sister, so by offering them some extra attention can be a positive way to move on.

Always sad when the time comes. I feel for you both, I have had 18 dogs so far, and Fritz will be the next to go. Just pour some extra love into those who remain.

This is a sad news! I know as well how this feels, since I 'm still missing my beloved Felix, which I had to let go this summer. Every Cat (and dog of course) is so special and has some Features and habits, that make it absolutely unique and irreplaceable. I'm With you in my thoughts!

Cats will always have a special place in my heart and every time another one says farewell for now, it clearly touches me - and how can you not ? they are so easy to love... and are definitely a big part of a family, I feel for you Glenda and Jim, it's so sad right now, but you will never forget the joy and unconditional love she gave you...

Condolences on the loss of your friend. Cats are strange pets. Aloof when it suits them; affectionate when it suits them, but always missed when they heed the call to leave us.

So very sorry to hear you lost your beloved little friend Bear, it is always so sad to lose our dearest pets, as I well know. I loved reading about her, she was certainly a most interesting and entertaining, but also loving cat as I can see and I know she will always hold a special place in your heart, and you will always have those happy memories in your thoughts of her. She is waiting now at Rainbow bridge, young, healthy and happy, God bless her. hugs Jane xx
