Description
Buffy isn't her true name yet, we haven't named her really, we just got her today, breeder said she was show quality and she has to down size her "farm" so we got this Buff Silkie and she also gave me a white and a blue (still chicks) so we now have 4 silkies separate from the other 4 hens (Easter egger, salmon faverolles, leghorn, and a speckled sussex) so yeah... 8 chickens...
(and yes she is wearing a chicken sweater)
*EDIT - She is now "Gabbie" to go with her new best friend "Maggie"**

This is funny, cute and beautiful at the same time. I wonder how tame she is? And that she stood still for her photo. Yes, she sure looks like a show quality hen. Keep up the good work! :-)

She is EXTREMELY sweet just this morning she was sitting on my lap having herself a nice petting and scratch around the hackle neck feathers =) Thank you!

Ha ha! Love it! We have chickens too, mostly Black Australorps, Barred Rocks, Old English and Rhode Island Reds. No chicken sweaters yet. Buffy looks fabulous in hers!

impressive and beautiful - though quite frankly, the only ones I've seen lately are packaged for cooking and we give them to the hungry people in their food boxes
