You are to be congratulated, Officer, for your selfless devotion to duty and the eminently laudable manner in which you have doggedly followed my career and planned my downfall. And so we meet. It must be of great satisfaction to you to know your assumptions and deductions are correct in every detail. You truly deserve to see your efforts rewarded by placing me behind bars. Alas, my dear sir, there is a flaw in your plans. Your logic is impeccable, your conclusions irrefutable. But I have the gun.
