I'm skipping just so I can get a few more before I move on, tonight. Aside from the content of this image---which is delightful---the composition is sweeping. The woman and man are almost in a choreographed pose, as if they're in a dance performance. There's sweep to her posture (esp in her legs), and he picks it up and embraces it. Love the contrast between their whites and blacks. And all that on red (on the couch). Then the long room, with the shelf in the middle; and that delighted kid who's just having a great time despite the Joffrey Ballet number to her right. I love her pink and the pink of the tricycle. And the bear with a---what?---sundae on a tray? Like the bear works for some restaurant nearby, and is doing a delivery. Right out of a 50s diner. And you have the girl's reflection in a mirror. Delightful, and filled with light and motion (visual motion). Even faint reflections in that well-polished floor...
