Description


This was what I hopped outside to capture. There's something magical about shooting icicles in the dark like this. No special technique, just used the camera's built-in flash and made sure nothing was behind it to be lit up as well. Snow was still falling, so that added the wonderful little glittering sparks in the night.

Just what I would NOT want falling on my head! But beautiful to behold! The construction here is very interesting, even unusual - flattened cylinders one on top of the other. Keep up the good work! :-)
