Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Oh my, shades of the movie, "Blade Runner," in this stellar labor of love. Terrific watercolor style work, Helle, even on corrugated cardboard.

This shows what an amazing artist you really are. On corrugated cardboard, I would never have known if you hadn't said. It truly is a superb artwork Helle. Well done to you, hugs Jane xx

Great responses. And I love Rod's "you painted this on cardboard?? Falls out of chair" Rod doesn't know all your work, and how you can, if you've got nothing else around, make art out of an old dinner roll, a discarded newspaper and a paper towel. He probably hasn't been in your gallery long enough to know how inventive you are. This has your touch all over it, even though it was inspired by that beautiful video (which I loved). And I love that your lettering is mostly Arabic, giving a flow to the otherwise rectangular and linear lines of the piece. And you got that verticality---this is definitely an eastern megalopolis, with high vertical lines. And wonderful late 19th C hues in the center section, painted-in in fast dabs and sploshes. I love some of the people resting against the building, or milling about. And the red purse of the front lady. And the arabic on the sides of a story entry (and your signature hidden in the entryway of a bldg on the left---nice job!) And we can see the cardboard lines in the sky, and they work---they carry the lines of the high rises right into the sky. This is bursting and alive, it has a quickness and jazzy improv feeling, and it's massed intensely, with real energy. With a rained-on reflective street. Love it. Terrific. Hope you do more, Helle.
