this one still has green leafs and never drops all of the brown until spring. the other one is almost bare

Well that's really interesting. I wonder why. I planted two plum trees once, one for germinating, and I swear to God it must have been sacred ground. I was getting fifty pounds of plums a season! Incredible. I was begging people to go in my yard and take all the plums they wanted.

We have a few Oak Trees in our backyard and all of them have shed their leaves for winter and will gain them back in the Spring.
Yours looks awesome with the green and rusty colors that can be seen throughout the winter.
