My first reasonably successful attempt at rendering in Iray. It took two days. TWO DAYS! I really need a better system. (-.-)

She looks beautiful, buddy. But I am honestly totally and completely confused. I use Poser and that's it. Firefly. I'm going to buy Poser 11 to play around with SuperFly when I get around to it. Whenever.

For the life of me, I always thought that iRay renders could only be done through Studio. (Because of the materials?) Or maybe I don't even know what Iray really is. Honest to God. And I just spent an hour reading forum messages trying to understand better which only left me more confused.

I do know this though for sure .... Two days for a portrait. How much would you have to spend on a new system to get quality renders on the typically complex scenes you commonly create? I can't even imagine.

These are just my honest thoughts and I would be very happy for somebody or anybody to clue me in better.
