Description

driveing home from my sons house and had to take the old roads as I_10 was slowing down to 45 MPH and i thought it will stop and I was close to an exit so I took it. I saw this in a small town and laugh and had to turn around to get the shot.

Anyway ... What a stark contrast. Such an overcrowded car in front of such a barrack ... Merry Christmas to you and yours, my dear friend!

Cool shot of the longest limousine in the world, Jock. A beautiful auto contrasted against some ugly pukey buildings. Who would even want to go inside?

What a contrast ! ! ! Great capture ! ! ! The drastic contrast between the foreground image and the background make the name Fondel's sound more like a funeral home than a limo service ! ! !

Besides being a funny sight, your shot is wonderfully done. Great decay on that old wall---and such irony (!!) because the building is obviously over the hill, with the "Lounge" letters all burnt off, and the windows boarded up, and an old car back against the door...But what's sitting in front of it? A huuuuuuge modern limo! You couldn't have found a more bizarre scene if you tried. Great capture, filled with lots of decay, and a fitting gray patina that makes the scene feel old and run-down. Really fine work, Jock.
