More of your abstract work from nature. I've said it before, but 'abstract' originally meant to take something out, to draw something out. It didn't mean "removed from the real world," but rather, extracted, isolated, intensified. So your 'abstract' photos aren't removed from nature, they're drawn from of nature, and intensified. That's what we get here. In zoom (and I hope people zoom), this is a big hairy side of a mountain; with caves---maybe prehistoric---and lots of interspersed shadow. The 'in medias res' crop---common to a number of your texture shots---and the contrasts are striking. Striking too, considering that the color palette is relatively limited by the nature of the wood. I love the 'touch' of it, the feel...rough, but soft. And filled with stringy strands everywhere...
