Description

A bastard son of the Ealoeth sun elven house reared by his human mother in Essembra north of Battledale while his father fled in the Retreat, many believe both his distinctive birthmark and natural gift for the “Art” (magic) mark him as being of the blood of the long-lost song dragon for who the town was named. Enduring the occupation of both Lashan’s army and the Zhents as a boy, he saw the abuse of both magic and might, but also the strength of righteousness, courage and conviction, leading him to choose to stand against such evils. Devilishly charming, clever and quick witted, Toran’s natural charisma is off-set by his unfettered spirit and self-confidence that borders on arrogance. Often too truthful, and disturbingly perceptive, he hides little, but, despite his tact, tends to put off those who lack the strength to hear the unveiled truth.
