Description
This is homage to the airbrush work of artist Den Beauvais. It’s hard to imagine that it has been nearly thirty years since his amazing ALIENS work graced the comics rack. I showed an initial version of this picture to someone and she replied that I should put Jones the Cat in it. So everyone just imagine that Jones is off camera using the flame thrower.

Sam, the lighting in this and the last image with fire were done mainly with invisible balls that have a material I worked up to make them into light emitters. Then I turn on the indirect light in render settings and voila, instant fire light.
