We stayed in a hotel on S. Lexington and from looking over the Google maps it was apparent that we'd be staying near what is Little India (etc.). Heading to our local subway station we spotted an interesting-looking restaurant with a live display above!?! (I'm sure we all know bad culinary jokes regarding exotic cuisine but I do recall that sections of "Star of India" in Harrogate had a page devoted to "Meat"... very non-specific. Did the "Star" follow us?) Mercifully no. Just an unfortunate juxtaposition of businesses and several travel-weary, very active, imaginations taking it in. We sample the fare of several restaurants in the area and all met our expectations. Some interesting curveballs at times (I'm sure we were being "messed with"), but very satisfactory. We'd go back for more nosh in a heartbeat. Weather was glorious. I'm wishing you all had a Merry Christmas and, to whom applicable, are having a Happy Hannukah.
