Well, I was hoping to finish this by Christmas Day, but it seems to have slopped over onto Boxing Day by about an hour. Tant mieux, as they say...
The thing about this webcomic is that a lot of it is improvised on a daily basis: the reason this sequence was called "The Last Christmas Story" is that... well, it had a very different storyline in mind when I started it. Then, as things usually do, it changed directions, and before long, the whole reason for calling it The Last Christmas Story have gone flying out the window for a very long vacation.
But I like where it wound up. It's established a couple of nice little mysteries for the future — André's father, for one, and André's Rumanian birth name. We'll take a look at those sometime down the road. For now, though, we're gonna leave these two alone for a while. Today being Boxing Day, it's one of Doc and Ray's favourite holidays of the year (of course you knew that, right?), so we'll have something to celebrate that. Then a bit of filler while we prep things for a new storyline.
As always, thanks for being such great readers. And remember: the comments section is there for a reason, okay? Let me know what you think about this stuff, whether good, bad, or indifferent. The guys' new look has been around for a year now; is it working for you? And if you know about the Secret Page on Facebook, let me know your thoughts on that as well.

Kind of happy and kind of sad to see this story at an end. I hope we'll get to see the two of them dressed for their wedding in Mama's husbands uniforms!
Totally loving this story, no matter what your first plan was, it all worked out well and sweetly!
Wishing you a Happy Boxing Day, mate! Get to the races and give to those who need!
Big hugs! Mickey "Daddy" Ray

I love your stories, no matter what the content is... It's thought provoking as well as amusing. But you don't need me to tell you that. See the number of people who follow your postings. And make you their favorite artist.

That will be the wedding of the century. An '80's nightclub themed dress code in a medieval stone church. I want lots of pictures! This was a wonderfully humorous look at an age old dilemma - passing muster with the mother-in-law. I love your characters!
