I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

I so agree, and wow! Rod, this is one really well thought out and designed for the princess. It disturbed me alot hearing this todey. I did not hear it on the news at first. Browsed the gallery and saw a image forvher. My jaw dropped to the ground. I wonder how that will change the story? Hope they will run the star wars saga aging this weekend. Wonderful work my friend. Watching this tribute show for the Eagles.

This is beautiful--maybe my favorite so far. It has that sense of wonder that I associate with the whole Star Wars universe.

I think that I want to pray for Princess Leia soul to rest in peace.

Beautiful tribute Rod. It made me sad when I read it in yesterdays paper. But the Star Wars films and cult will continue. Wishing you a Happy New Year. And great job on this memorial! :-)

O my friend Rod, I'm in the same mood, and had to do a piece of memory too. As most of us she was my first brunette for a trip into the stars. And what a trip! Cheers man an take care!

That's a very striking tribute! It's ver well thought out, from the image of Carrie Fisher, to the Rebel symbol, and the light sabres.
I was 12 when Star Wars hit the theaters. I was never the same since. Hearing she was gone so soon was a bit shocking. Yet another bummer to add to 2016.

Wonderful and touching dedication. You did a fine job saying goodbye. She is now part of the universal consciousness and through it , still with us, just on a different plane.

I had to include this in my (all too brief) session of your work: This is beautiful, Rod. You captured the mystery and inner beauty of Carrie, and what her roles meant to us. And, the stars and cosmic sights she seems to be wrapped in bring out something deep in her. She really did struggle; and she had the guts to write it all, beautifully too. When I read of Debbie Reynolds' passing, the article said Reynolds said something like "I want to be with Carrie". Very moving (and painful---it must be devastating to lose a child). They went too quickly.
In your vision, you created an open door to the universe, and then enshrined it with a beautiful emblem of light, and bits of galaxies and even a planet or nebula (on the right); and those luminous swords held by your beautiful characters. And doused it in a nighttime green-blue glow. A touching tribute, thank you for posting it.

Mark Hamill said it best: Carrie was OUR Princess (even if she felt different about it).
Very thought out and moving tribute, Rod. May she and Debbie Reynolds find peace among the stars...
