Eyes full of wonder; heart is racing; her first real sword - after so many years of practice with wooden blades and old, castoff swords, she has now earned the right to carry a master's weapon. Her instructor looks on in pride at her student who has gained the mastery to carry such a blade. But the master also knows that learning the art of the blade never really stops.
