Description

Queen Zlata and Skye noted that the lighting was to intense for this work and convinced me to remove one of the spotlights. I think they had the right idea. PS no one but no one argues with the queen!

Well done, Mike! And so true! Sometimes I get the feeling my Morphs know my scenes better than I do. 😃

The Queen and Skye are right, the bright light was a bit overwhelming.

Like how the change adds more reflections in the background Mike.

Super well done as always.

More reflections is fun! I kind of liked the "mothership is landing" look of the other one, but this one shows the art more!

Intructions by the characters themselves, now that would be handy for 3D scenes lighting heh :) , nice work !

I like both of these pieces---in an environment as angled and reflective as this, extreme lighting works really well; yet this version gives more clarity, so they both work beautifully for me. This is another side to your work, where you play with abstract forms and bring your characters into them. They become part of a view into the inner structures of things, like these forms are the crystals of the universe, or something like that. Love all the angles as well as the hall-of-mirrors reflections. (Hard to know where the art begins and the room ends.) Love FVMOMA. Hope people zoom, 'cause this thing is a whole environment full size. (Museums love that kind of stuff.) Terrific work, Mike, I really love it. You even have some shadows from the women that move across the piece like characters by themselves. Happy New Year! And it's great to see the friendship and comradery you generate here, btw: People really respond to you and your work. Terrific.

Off with his head...LOL, you know you could just lower the light intensity, as the reflections are multiplying all the lights power, just a suggestion and I ain't going to argue with the Queen, so removing one works as well !

~Cheers~

Quite obviously the Good Queen knows her way around art circles... And her suggestion was a good one - it looks great, Mike! I suspect there is quite a Regal celebration in Fae Valley tonight!

Happy New Year, buddy!
