they came, the Legends were true, smoke'n, scale'n, fire, over the mountains at first light

... at first we couldn't believe that it was true, but then we saw the villages burning and the maidens carried off. We looked to the old books to remember how they were driven off and contained. We Needed a hero but none were around. we sent messengers out to other towns and villages in hopes that a hero would be there. we can only hope and pray.

The hero who answered our need, was young, and handsome. Neither warrior or wizard, but a Bard, no sword or staff. Only a song but sung with the voice of an angel so pure, stronger than steel or spell.
