Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Nice bit of shading in these drawings depicting the neanderthal era, Helle. I thought they were footprints at first.

being the artist, I'm sure you saw the difference between this and the original; but, whatever's missing, we still get to see a wonderful trio of drawings. As Andrea says: delicate observation work. And I agree with Harry, they did look like footsteps at first! (The Abominable Snowman in a whiteout blizzard!) But...they're clearly carved stone, and they truly look like something that did 'cutting' (axe head would be right). I really admire how you caught all the peculiarities of carved stone, the rough curves, the obsidian-like gouges, etc. I'm sure the original showed that even better, but these have deep detail and real presence, and they evoke a very old artifact feeling. "Presence" is a key word: Your museum drawings all evoke a 'presence'. Wonderful. And I'm so glad you posted them: Whatever the condition, they're entirely worth being seen.
