It looks a bit like the poor and sceleton-ish cat, that begged us to let her in a sudden summerday in 2015. We did keep her for three days, till she was strong enough to come to a shelter and a vet. We had already two cats then.

a stark, minimal shot, with just 3 things: The gravel, the cat, and the concrete. And the cat, in your composition, connects the two. He moves with the line that separates them. Very well seen and cropped. And there's texture contrast too, between cat and gravel and sidewalk. Even back in 2005, you were thinking in minimalist terms, and exploring pure texture, hue and line contrasts. Very fine shot, Harry.
