Description

While there's a consensus among paleontologists that the Utahraptors were wholly feathered, I think that the more old-fashioned scaly depictions work very well within a fantasy setting. They look more like bipedal dragons. This is similar in theme to my last post, except it's done in a much different visual style. This time around, the influence is much closer to Jurassic Park than Fantasia. Post-processing in GIMP. Enjoy!

"Feathers? FUR! That's what were covered with! Not feathers. What's the point of such a complex construction when we can't fly! Them paleontologists must be bonkers. Oh, well, typically human. Think they know everything! WE dinos lived for millions of years, let's see humans do the same!" - T.Rex. "PS - nice of you to do these cool portraits of my friends!" - T.Rex. :-)
