Description
My wife, Arlene, taking a photo with her phone while I was taking a photo of her. On a walk in the snow around the corner from our house. I don't shoot directly into the sun very often, but thought I'd give it a try this time. We had close to a foot of snow in Medford yesterday, which was the most snowfall in a day since 1919. Overnight temperature reached a low of 14 degrees, so some of the snow on the roads has turned to ice & we're not planning to drive anywhere today...

I had comments in my head when this went up---I love it. The cushiony feel of all that snow. And the sun behind Arlene is a wonderful extra-terrestrial 'diva' shining down on her. The ultra whites of the shot really bring home what these days feel like, in the sun. (YOu really have to shade your eyes...) You got it all, here. Love this shot!
